Most parents we speak to have children who are absolutely over the moon for Disney's Frozen, and kinda bummed they have to wait till March 18 to watch the movie on DVD/Blu-ray. Well, good news for your Frozen-obsessed kids is that the film is returning to theaters with a special sing-along version beginning January 31.
For those who've never experienced something like this, the sing-along version will differ from the previous version in that lyrics for the songs will appear on-screen during those scenes, with a bouncing snowflake bopping from word to word to encourage audience participation. So if your kid walks around the house endlessly belting out "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?", then this is something that will probably make their year.
While the new version sadly won't include this great fan-made alternate ending, it will give your kids a rare chance to sing as loudly as they want inside a movie theater packed with other fans just like them. That's a pretty cool experience in our opinion, so check your local theater listings next week to see if it's screening by you.
Here's a different sing-along version of one of the songs released late last year, to give you an idea of what to expect.
