Get your calendars out, kids – we’ve got a slew of new release dates for Fox projects to share, all the way through summer 2018.

Fox has unveiled its upcoming docket of major releases for the next four (!) years, and as you’d expect it’s pretty much filled with tentpole films and wannabe franchises. It’s got sequels to films that haven’t been made yet, vague unnamed projects that are sure to get fanboys speculating, and an untitled Vince Vaughn comedy.

The title guaranteed to spawn the most speculation will be Fox’s secret Marvel project. Set for release in July 2018 (barring unforeseen delays), this could be another X-Men movie, a crossover, or even potentially the lost-in-limbo Deadpool feature. We wouldn’t bet on that last one, but it could be X-Force, which certainly would make sense since Jeff Wadlow was hired to write and potentially direct it last summer. We also like the idea of Fantastic Four vs. X-Men, which would give Fox a big team-up movie along the lines of The Avengers and Batman vs. Superman.

Of course, this isn’t the only Marvel-related project the studio has up its sleeve. Josh Trank hasn’t released his Fantastic Four reboot yet, but there’s already a release date for the sequel – July 14, 2017. Guess that means Fox is really high on Marvel’s first family…

Wolverine

Earlier this week, we talked about the future of Wolverine. Director James Mangold is committed to making a third stand-alone film about the moody mutant, but Hugh Jackman is hinting that he might be ready to leave the character behind. We suspect Fox will throw obscene amounts of money at Jackman to get him to make at least one more solo Wolverine film, and that title is scheduled to be in theaters on March 3, 2017.

Fox does have some other titles in development besides ones involving big-name actors in form-fitting spandex. The biggest of those is arguably an untitled Ridley Scott feature that many are assuming will be Prometheus 2.

Scott has about a billion projects "in development," so theoretically this could be anything – but it does seem unlikely that Fox would go to the trouble of setting a March 2016 release date for most of Scott’s other potential features. We’ll have to wait and see.

The rest of Fox’s upcoming slate includes Liam Neeson returning for more ass-kicking adventure in Taken 3 on January 9, 2015, Daniel Radcliffe in another Frankenstein update on October 2, 2015, Vince Vaughn in an “untitled comedy project” that could be Business Trip in March of next year, and Matthew Vaughn’s The Secret Service on this October 24.
