Step onto the gridiron, readers, it's time for another Poster-Crop Quiz. In honor of Draft Day, we have scouted some of our favorite football films and drafted a lineup composed of their posters. Then, as our playbook usually finds us doing, we hacked and cropped the hell out of them. See if you can identify these films from their unnecessarily roughed-up posters; leaving your guesses in the comment section below. The first person to correctly name all 10 will receive a shout-out in next week's quiz. Think of it as the Vince Lombardi trophy of passing Internet praise.
To kick things off, behold the macho-rific poster for the original Longest Yard. Yes, it's one of the best football movies in existence, but the studio was well aware that to sell this film, they didn't need to reveal a single pigskin or helmet. All that was needed to promote Longest Yard was Burt Reynolds' unstoppable manliness.
Last week's answers: 500 Days of Summer, Autumn in New York, Endless Summer, Lion in Winter, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Spring Breakers, Winter Passing, Wet Hot American Summer, Winter's Bone, Winter's Tale.
Big ups to Ryan Meacham for acing last week's quiz!
