and badass cars (and ridiculously cool car chases!) go together like peanut butter and jelly. We tried to think of a more testosterone-laden analogy, but we feel kind of sheepish next to the dystopian gangs in George Miller's movie. With Mad Max: Fury Road
getting ready to film this spring and the years-long setbacks, delays, and cancellations we've seen, we've been curious to check out more of what Miller's futuristic revamp would look like — you know, proof that this thing really is underway.
Ain't It Cool
shared some images of the vehicles that will be used in the new movie, which have been transported from Port Kembla in Africa. The spirit of the original films seems to be alive and well in these pics, which hopefully means a lot of fire, destruction, and speeding lunatics. The Age
has also noted that several of the vehicles are of Max's, made to resemble the "Interceptor" — a " juiced-up Ford XB GT Falcon coupe" to be exact.
Tell us if the autogeddon is off to a good start judging from these promising photos.
