A First Look at Nicole Kidman's 'Basic Instinct' Moment from Lee Daniels' 'Paperboy'

May 17, 2012

Lee Daniels' Paperboy — about a reporter who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate — will be debuting at Cannes. USA Today shared a photo from the upcoming film, featuring star Nicole Kidman's "Basic Instinct moment," as they're calling it. Yes, that one. Kidman plays a woman who brings a case about an innocent death row inmate (John Cusack) to a reporter (Matthew McConaughey) and his younger brother (Zac Efron).

The 44-year-old actress apparently makes waves in the movie over an onscreen affair she starts with the 24-year-old Efron. Daniels shares that there are moments more shocking than Kidman's flashing and boy toy fling, promising many scenes of the crew "getting down." We'll have to take his word on that for now, until we hear more news from Cannes. In the meantime, check out Kidman in action below using the persuasive powers of the legs crossed-uncrossed maneuver.
