Charlie Sheen The Goldbergs

When most people hear the name Charlie Sheen, they invariably think of Two and a Half Men and that strange stretch in 2011 when he was all about #tigerblood and #winning. However, the older amongst us remember a younger, purer Charlie Sheen – the devil-may-care bad boy of the Brat Pack who stole Jennifer Grey’s heart in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Now, three decades later, Sheen is reprising that role for a whole new generation.

The actor is set to appear on an upcoming episode of ABC’s comedy series The Goldbergs, where he’ll run into series regular Hayley Orrantia in a police station as the show pays homage to the beloved John Hughes film.

Charlie looks a little rougher around the edges than he did back in the 1980s, but it’s still a pretty perfect re-creation of the scene based on what we can see in the picture above.

The Goldbergs airs on Wednesday nights at 8:30 on ABC. New episodes will return after the first of the year. In the meantime, check out the original Charlie Sheen scene below.
