Watch: 'Ferris Bueller's Last Day Off'

What if Ferris Bueller were to attempt to fake a day off as an adult? That's the premise behind this really hilarious new short, Ferris Bueller's Last Day Off, which follows Ferris and Cameron as they look to recreate the adventure they had when they were teenagers ... and fail miserably. Watch as the real world finally catches up to the not-so-slick duo, as the latest technology, a fed-up roommate, a drained bank account and an amazing cameo from Gilbert Gottfried foil Ferris' plans to enjoy another memorable day off.

The video comes at a perfect time, too, especially since there's been some online buzz surrounding a sequel now that we just passed the film's 25th anniversary. We told you last week how one guy wrote a sequel to Ferris Bueller's Day Off and claims several influential Hollywood types are interested in it. Will we see a Ferris Bueller sequel some day? Probably not, unless Matthew Broderick goes all Nicolas Cage on the world and loses all his money. The better bet is an MTV-style remake, starring Josh Hutcherson and Kristen Stewart as Sloan. Ugh.

Until then, watch this parody and enjoy.

Listen: Samuel L. Jackson Reads 'Go the F**k to Sleep'

It's taken the world by storm, with a movie deal already in the works, as well as a list of celebrities lining up to do audio recordings. Adam Mansbach's book, Go the F**k to Sleep, is being billed as a children's book for adults, and it has most parents in stitches as it taps into the horrors of children's sleep schedules via fun, hilarious rhymes. Here's a description:

"Go the Fuck to Sleep is a bedtime book for parents who live in the real world, where a few snoozing kitties and cutesy rhymes don't always send a toddler sailing blissfully off to dreamland. Profane, affectionate, and radically honest, California Book Award-winning author Adam Mansbach's verses perfectly capture the familiar--and unspoken--tribulations of putting your little angel down for the night. In the process, they open up a conversation about parenting, granting us permission to admit our frustrations, and laugh at their absurdity."

Werner Herzog is the latest celebrity to record a reading of the book, though he's following up Samuel L. Jackson's, whose audio recording of Go the F**k to Sleep is something you'll want to listen to, like, right now. Enjoy.

UPDATE: Thanks to Movieline, we now have audio of Werner Herzog reading Go the F**k to Sleep. See below ...
