As we inch closer to the beginning of February, it's time to start building anticipation for the films that will greet us in theaters once the shortest month of the year rolls around.
20th Century Fox partnered with Thinkmodo for a pretty cool Chronicle promo. Their much buzzed-about original teen superhero flick flies into theaters this weekend, and in order to promote it they built three custom RC planes shaped like people and flew them around New York City, simulating a few of the powers the characters in the film posses. Check out video of their flying adventure below. Chronicle hits theaters on February 3rd.
Meanwhile, a week after Chronicle takes its chances at the box office, George Lucas will get to test out his grand plan of rereleasing all six original Star Wars movies in theaters in 3D, beginning with Episode I: The Phantom Menace. If it's successful, we should expect one new Star Wars 3D rerelease each year through Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. And to celebrate the rerelease of Phantom Menace, some folks sweded the film's trailer over on YouTube. Dare we say this is more enjoyable than the film itself?
