Fresh off a lackluster opening for their latest R-rated comedy
Hall Pass, director Bobby Farrelly
hinted at the potential for a
Dumb and Dumber sequel. While making the press rounds in Australia to promote the Owen Wilson-Jason Sudeikis comedy, Farrelly said that if
Jim Carrey and
Jeff Daniels agreed to a second movie, it, “might be a worthwhile sequel," and, "that ball is in motion.” The proposed storyline would catch-up with our two dimwits twenty years after we last saw them. Daniels has often spoken fondly of his role and Carrey has re-teamed with the Farrellys before, in
Me, Myself and Irene. While this is a long, long way from happening and the memories of
Dumb & Dumberer are still fresh in our minds (though the Farrellys had nothing to do with that movie), would you be interested in seeing where life has taken Harry and Lloyd?
