Fanboy Alert: Jennifer Lawrence Strips Down for 'Days of Future Past;' Tyrese Begs for 'Transformers 4' Role

May 20, 2013

Actress Jennifer Lawrence is taking a break from playing Katniss Everdeen and apparently she’s feeling kind of blue about it – or maybe that’s just her in her full-on makeup from the set of Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. You decide.

Lawrence is reprising her role as Mystique in the follow-up to X-Men: First Class, and her new “outfit” doesn’t leave a lot to the imagination. We doubt the fanboys mind…

Days of Future Past will draw inspiration from one of the more beloved X-Men comic story arcs – one that introduces an alternate reality wherein the assassination of a high-ranking U.S. senator leads to all mutants being hunted by Sentinels. Expect the film in theaters on July 18, 2014. In the meantime, enjoy the behind-the-scenes look at Lawrence getting ready for action. [via Coming Soon]

Tyrese Gibson Begs Michael Bay for a Part in Transformers 4

Tyrese Gibson loves him some Transformers (going so far as to get a Transformers tattoo on his arm), and the actor is desperate to join the cast of Michael Bay’s fourth Transformers feature. How desperate? Desperate enough to go on live television and plead his case.

Check out Gibson on this segment of CBS New York’s The Couch – wherein the actor turns to the camera and all but begs to be included in the latest epic about "giant f***ing robots." Gibson gives it the hard sell, mentioning his love of the franchise, pointing out that he’s worked with Josh Duhamel and Mark Wahlberg, and then seals the deal with some good ol’ fashioned flattery. No word yet on whether or not Bay was moved by the plea, but at least Gibson can move on knowing he gave it his best shot.

Check out the footage below, then let us know if you’d want to see Tyrese in the latest Transformers or not.
