My job as a member of the Shorts Jury for this year's Gen Art Film Festival is a relatively easy one when it comes to the amount of content I have to watch. With only seven short films to choose from, it was cake to watch all seven in just over an hour. But when I realized how good all seven were, that's when I began to obsess over every little detail of each short -- their strengths, weaknesses, characters, story, production values ... everything.
Tomorrow night our jury -- which consists of myself, producer Ted Hope (Super, The Savages) and writer-director Drake Doremus (Like Crazy, Douchebag) -- will announce the winning short at the closing night party, but in the meantime I've been scouring the net to see which of the seven shorts are online now so that you can watch them too. Late last week we brought you the hilarious Delmer Builds a Machine, and today we have Excuse Me, which tracks one couple who, following a round of love-making, begin arguing when she hears him yell out someone else's name.
Watch Excuse Me below, and let us know what you think.
