Exclusive Clip: John C. Reilly, on Polanski’s ‘Carnage’

Mar 19, 2012

Director Roman Polanski returned to the director’s chair for this sharp, biting movie version of the play God of Carnage, in which two upper-class New York couples meet one day to politely discuss what happened on the school playground between their sons that resulted in one losing a few teeth. A few drinks and Cuban cigars later, and “politely” has disintegrated into one hell of a screaming match between the four, a powerhouse cast of Jodie Foster and John C. Reilly as the Longstreets and Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz as the Cowans.

Carnage comes out tomorrow on DVD and Blu-ray, but today you can check out this exclusive clip from it in which Reilly talks about working with Polanski and the challenges of making an 80-minute movie set entirely in one room.
