Hercules: Dwayne Johnson has a new hairdo. The busy actor has already starred in Snitch, Pain & Gain, G.I. Joe: Retaliation and Fast & Furious 6 this year, and he just started production on Brett Ratner's Hercules on Monday. Johnson shared a photo, noting his new three-hour "daily process," in which he is transformed by hair and makeup artists for his role as the son of Zeus. The movie is due out on July 25, 2014. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: As a producer, Michael Bay continues to line up action-movie projects, but he may have found one that he also wants to direct. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon is a computer game in which a secret military unit takes down terrorist threats around the world. The game is produced by Unisoft, which has also set up deals for action movies based on its games Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell. Writers are being sought for the project, and Bay will oversee development of the script. [Variety]

Choose Your Own Adventure: Are you ready for a "cross-platform, four-quadrant, action-adventure franchise"? Reportedly, 20th Century Fox wants to acquire the film rights to the Choose Your Own Adventure series of books that have sold nearly 250 million copies over more than three decades. Of course, the books allowed readers to choose from multiple options every few pages to determine how the story would turn out, and there's no word how that would be translated into a big-screen adventure. Red 2 Trailer: The latest trailer for action-comedy Red 2 features some previously unseen footage, promising an equal distribution of jokes and explosions. Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren and Mary-Louise Parker return, joined this time by Anthony Hopkins, Byung-hun Lee and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Look for it in theaters on July 19. [YouTube]
