Spike Jonze's brilliant film Her, about a man (Joaquin Phoenix) falling in love with an artificial intelligence (voiced by Scarlett Johansson), has been slowly expanding to theaters around the United States and picking up plenty of year-end awards from critics along the way, too. On January 10 it will finally land at Alamo Drafthouse locations, and so to celebrate, the theater has created one of its famous no-talking PSAs specifically for the film.
And since this is a Drafthouse Recommends title (a brand of endorsement it started doing last year to recognize films people should go out of their way to see), it decided to make the Her PSA extra special by getting Susan Bennett, the actual voice of Siri, Apple's own artificial intelligence, to record it.
