Disney is coming at you in three dimensions this year, but is that a good thing if we're talking about upconverting classic 2D titles like Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King? Both of those movies will get a 3D theatrical release and then will be released on Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/digital copy combo packs sometime in the fall. Also coming to Blu-ray 3D this year from the studio that Mickey Mouse built are Bolt, Chicken Little, G-Force, Meet the Robinsons and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
So what do you think? Is it a good idea to make a 3D version of an animated movie available even if the original was never 3D to begin with, or should Disney stop tinkering with its vault of treasures? Sound off below.
