The Disney-princesses-as-other-things trend has been going strong for some time now, but there’s a new Disney movie on the scene that has captured the hearts of kids big and small everywhere. Frozen is the latest subject of a creative Disney reimagining. Japanese artist Yoko created a series of artworks that looks at the winter-themed musical fantasy film through the eyes of Tim Burton.
Frozen’s kingdom of eternal winter sounds like an ominous enough place for the gothy director, who is currently producing a drama based on painter Margaret Keane — famous for her depiction of little girls with eerily large eyes.
