Hot on the heels of Jai Courtney (Spartacus) being chosen to play Bruce Willis' son in the next Die Hard sequel comes this image from Courtney's screen test opposite Willis, which is what won him the role. So what you're looking at isn't a still from the film, but it is our first glimpse of these two together. Titled A Good Day to Die Hard, the fifth Die Hard movie will arrive in theaters next Valentine's Day, and in case you haven't noticed it will revolve around a plot that concerns John McClane and his son (and possibly Russian bad guys). Skip Woods (The A-Team) wrote the script, which will be directed by John Moore (Max Payne).
A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD puts McClane on an international stage — truly a NYC fish out of water in Moscow — and introduces his estranged son Jack. An apple that has not fallen far from the tree, Jack may even be more of a hardass than his father. Despite their differences, they must work together to keep each other alive – and the world safe for democracy.
