Darren Aronofsky Returns to the Drug World for These Melodramatic Anti-Meth PSAs

Nov 09, 2011

Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream director Darren Aronofsky returned to the world of drug addiction to direct some anti-meth PSA videos for The Meth Project Foundation, which are part disturbing and part hilarious. Yeah, meth-heads tend to get nutso, but tweakers often just beg for change incessantly or sit in the back of the bus passing out on their seats. In Aronofsky's world, however, cute teenage girls go bad. Regardless, meth is a nasty drug that's popping up in places you'd least expect. These are a little dramatic, yes, but we imagine that's the point. Meth is not fun.

Check out the videos below. If you're at work, you should know that they're a little shouty, so turn the volume down.
