Connecticut Movie Theater Posts Hilarious 'Tree of Life' Warning Notice for Moviegoers

Jun 24, 2011

In a true sign of the times (and of just how easily digestible most of us want our entertainment to be), a Stamford Connecticut movie theater has posted  a warning sign to its customers, explaining that Terrence Malick's The Tree of Life is, well, kinda unlike the usual crap that passes through their fine establishment.

We're unsure of what, exactly, brought about the creation of this sign, but since it ends with the theater re-establishing their no-refund policy, we imagine they've had a whole ton of walk-outs and complaints from people who wanted their money back after paying for a Brad Pitt movie that didn't feature Brad Pitt serving the audience his new film's story in a sippy cup.

Read the hilarious sign below, and feel free to chime in on whether you think it's appropriate for a movie theater to warn its customers ahead of time of a film that thinks outside the box and may not be for everyone.
