Classic Film Scenes Reimagined as Storybook Illustrations by a Pixar Artist

Jun 19, 2012

A Pixar artist seems like the perfect person to illustrate a series of classic film scenes, adapting them storybook-style. Josh Cooley reimagined what famous moments from movies like The Godfather and Rosemary's Baby would look like in a children's book. He's even altered the meter of the text so that some of cinema's most memorable lines read like those in a child's tale.

The collected series makes up Cooley's book called Movies R Fun, which sadly doesn't seem to be available on Amazon currently — but we're hoping the artist will get in touch to give us an update on his project. In the meantime, dig into a preview of the book below, and then head to Design Taxi for more.
