Christopher Lloyd's New 'Back to the Future'-Related Commercial: The Final Version(s)
Not long ago we brought you this odd video of Christopher Lloyd reprising his Doc Brown role from Back to the Future for what looked like some sort of viral ad that was set in Argentina. Since then we've learned it was indeed an ad for an electronics store called Garbarino. Now three different ads are online and we've posted all of them below. If you look closely you'll notice they used two different cars for this. In the close-ups they actually brought with them one of the DeLoreans used in Back to the Future. For the action shots, however, they simply dressed up a Toyota Celica.
So, no, this isn't some viral for Back to the Future 4 (though Lloyd still looks like he has the juice in him to reprise the role one more time if you ask us).
Let us know what you think. Apparently the commercial comes in three parts (for now): This longer version of Doc Brown shilling recent tech items, a found-footage version of Doc arriving in 2011 and a surveillance video version of Doc arriving.
Update: We now have a fourth video featuring a press conference with Doc Brown. Watch it below.
