Watch: Channing Tatum Makes a Fan's Dreams Come True from Backstage at the Oscars

Mar 20, 2014

There are a lot of debates about a celebrity’s “duty” to their adoring audience. Some stars want nothing to do with the limelight once the cameras stop rolling, while others make it their job to perform for the camera 24/7. And thanks to the Internet, we get to feel a little closer to our favorite film stars through the magic of Twitter, Instagram and other social media accounts. Not every celebrity bothers to take the time to connect with their fans, but the always gregarious Channing Tatum recently did just that for a girl battling stage-four brain cancer.

Eighteen-year-old Alisa recently learned of her grim prognosis and created a bucket list. At the very top of that wish list was “kiss Channing Tatum.” Her friends, family and strangers around the world set out to make her dreams come true. Word got back to Tatum, who created a sweet video message for Alisa and even serenaded her from backstage at the Oscars. Take a minute to watch Tatum get adorkable and make one girl’s dream come true. [Spotted via BuzzFeed]
