Welcome to Case of the Mondays, a weekly post that takes a look around Hollywood to see who's having the worst day.
Sure, it's hard to believe that Justin Bieber would be having a bad day after performing at the Grammys (and sitting front row to boot!) while watching his first film, Never Say Never, earn $30 million at the box office. But see, the facts are deceiving because although Bieber performed at the Grammys, he failed to earn the Best New Artist award. And even though his film earned $30 million at the box office, it failed to beat the critically panned Adam Sandler/ Jennifer Aniston movie, Just Go With It.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Justin Bieber has finally lost...something. And now the apocalypse should happen in 3...2...1...
That's not to say his fans are going away anytime soon, and we should probably expect Hollywood to come knocking on his door with a plethora of cheesy teen-related movie roles. But after a whole year of Justin Bieber conquering the world, we finally learned in the past 24 hours that he is not a machine; that he doesn't always have to be awesome at everything. Could the Bieber Fever finally be lifting? Has the entire world come together as one to make a stand against all things Justin Bieber related, or am I just a cynical dope who'd love to walk one hour in that kid's shoes?
I think we both know the answer to that last question.
