Roman Polanski's 'Carnage' Trailer Gives Us Parental Rage at its Best

Aug 19, 2011

The first international trailer for Roman Polanski's adaptation of the popular play God of Carnage has arrived online, and it's pretty great. Titled Carnage for theatrical release, the film stars John C. Reilly, Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz as two sets of parents who come together for a meeting when their kids get into a schoolyard brawl.

On the surface it may seem difficult to maintain that premise for the length of a feature film, but one look at this trailer -- and the fantastic performances on display (Kate Winslet looks absolutely batsh*t crazy, thanks to her disinterested husband Christoph Waltz) -- and you'll see there's plenty of juice here to carry this sucker all the way. Definitely one to watch out for when it hits theaters on December 16th.
