Buy This: 'Back to the Future II' Hoverboard is Way Cheaper Than Those Nike Sneakers

So you're a huge Back to the Future nerd, but you're bummed that you couldn't snag a pair of the recently-released Nike Air Mags from Back to the Future II because each pair is being auctioned off for more than four grand ... and you ain't paying four grand for a pair of sneakers that don't even come with automatic lacing. What's the next best thing? How about owning a replica of the hoverboard used in Back to the Future II for only $425? That's a lot less than those sneakers, and while this hoverboard doesn't exactly hover, it'd still look pretty cool in that Back to the Future memorabilia room your girlfriend wants to turn into a nursery some day.

From the eBay listing: This Prop replica is a highly accurate reproduction of the movie original (as seen in Back to the Future), using parts molded from an original prop with accurate colour reproduction. Please don’t mistake this item for some of the home-made versions that are out there. All components are individually made, using the same techniques used in the movie industry. Please be aware this item does not hover! It’s a replica movie prop."

So there ya go. Who's buying one?
