The Important News

You'd think it was human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria, the way everyone is responding to news that Ghostbusters 3 could be a reboot from Paul Feig with all female leads. Oh, there's also going to be a Spider-Man spin-off driven by a female character (maybe Black Cat, seen above). At least Sylvester Stallone might keep the men in work with a couple more Expendables movies.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been moved up, and we learned of nine more DC Comics movies through 2020. Warner Bros. also announced two more Lego Movie sequels this decade.

Universal has acquired Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles franchise, so look for a slew of those out soon, too.

The next TV show based on a movie will be School of Rock, from Richard Linklater for Nickelodeon. Meanwhile, Linklater is moving ahead on the spiritual sequel to Dazed on Confused.

The next star of a movie called The Raid will be Taylor Kitsch. The next adaptation of A Wrinkle in Time will be a feature film scripted by the writer and codirector of Frozen. The next Terminator movie will be called Terminator Genisys
