The Biggest News

1. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 Trailer Premieres for Fans Visiting "The Capitol Gallery" at Comic-Con

Though it's not online yet, the first trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 premiered as part of an interactive Hunger Games exhibit presented by Samsung Galaxy. Lucky fans had a chance to enjoy several themed stations, from Peeta's Bakery to a Capitol Portrait flanked by holograms of both Peeta and Johanna. Check out our photo gallery from the event here.

Afterwards, the trailer premiered on Samsung Galaxy tablets inside a secret room. Due to arrive online in the next couple of days, the first official trailer for Mockingjay - Part 1 was both fierce and emotional, setting up big action spectacle (one sequence teased hundreds of Capitol police chasing Panem citizens through the woods), and a dire situation where a beaten-up Katniss returns home to a ruined District 12 only to be confronted by her own people. "Are you here to fight with us?" one small boy asks Katniss. "I am. I will," she somewhat reluctantly replies.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 hits theaters on November 21.

2. Avengers: Age of Ultron Posters

With less than 24 hours to go before their big panel, Marvel began releasing some very cool posters for Avengers: Age of Ultron (May 1, 2015), all of which will eventually assemble to form one really cool image. Check 'em out below.

3. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Is Already Happening

While speaking to the Wrap earlier today, Guardians of the Galaxy cowriter Nicole Perlman confirmed that James Gunn will indeed return to write and direct the sequel.

“They started to figure it out pretty quick when they started getting the reactions from the audience; it was a very positive reaction. Of course they would want to make a sequel as long as it does well and  people are excited about it, they'll wanna do a sequel. So, it's going to happen…James will be directing Guardians 2, so he would also be writing Guardians 2.”

No release date has been announced, but with eight open release dates for upcoming Marvel movies, we expect one of them to be Guardians of the Galaxy 2. In the meantime, watch the first Guardians of the Galaxy in theaters on August 1.

The Coolest Moments

During the panel for Horns, Fandango's Dave Karger prompted the crowd of thousands to sing happy birthday to star Daniel Radcliife, who turned 26 on July 23. Watch the video below.

While promoting The Book of Life (October 17), old-school rapper Biz Markie surprised the Comic-Con crowd with a rendition of "Just a Friend." Watch as Channing Tatum briefly joins in.
