These past two weeks have brought us a whole ton of behind-the-scenes images from some of the most anticipated upcoming superhero films as they stage huge action set pieces in public areas, making it practically impossible for the studios to keep it all hidden. Last week The Dark Knight Rises was busy tearing up Pittsburgh, and now this week The Avengers heads to Cleveland for an equally-as-large set piece that involves transforming downtown Cleveland into New York City (or, more specifically, the exterior of Grand Central Station) for what we can only imagine is one big fight between good and evil.
Splash News was on the scene in Cleveland capturing some of the action there. While none of the Avengers were spotted in costume (save for Chris Evans out of his Captain America suit), there were some major explosions and crowds of people running for their lives. Images and video below.
-- In other behind-the-scenes news, Amy Adams (as Lois Lane) has been spotted on the set of Man of Steel, and, surprisingly, she looks just like Amy Adams. Check out an image below, via Coming Soon.
