Dumb and Dumber

Dumb and Dumber Sequel: Well, that didn't take long. Last week we heard that the sequel to Dumb and Dumber had been dropped by New Line and Warner Bros., but now rival studio Universal has picked up the project, titled Dumber and Dumber To, which is set to reteam Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels with directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly. The movie is aiming for release in 2014. [The Hollywood Reporter]

X-Men: Days of Future Past: Director Bryan Singer is taking plot leaks into his own hands, so to speak. He's shared a new photo that reveals a prepared speech on White House stationary; he doesn't provide any hints in the caption, but the picture itself refers to a 'grave threat' and some cataclysmic event in Paris. What does it mean? We'll have to wait until X-Men: Days of Future Past opens in theaters on July 18, 2014. [Bryan Singer]

Anchorman 2 Trailer: Will Farrell, Steve Carell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner reunite on a 24-hour news channel in the first, official, full-length, super-duper trailer for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Ron Burgundy and his fellow broadcasters from 1970s San Diego assemble again in 1980s Manhattan for the movie, which is due out on December 20. [MovieClips]

The LEGO Movie Trailer: For anyone who's ever played with little plastic bricks, have we got a movie for you! The first trailer for The LEGO Movie reveals the greatest team up ever, including Chris Pratt, Morgan Freeman, Batman (!) and the Ninja Turtles (!!). The animated movie, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), will build its way into theaters on February 7, 2014. [Warner Bros.]
