Collider brings us the latest on what’s coming out when, with newly announced dates for Popeye, Hotel Transylvania 2, The Last Exorcism II and more.

According to the site, Sony Animation has set release dates for Genndy Tartakovsky’s two new projects. Tartakovsky is set to become the king of September, with his animated Popeye making its debut on September 26, 2014. The director’s sequel to Hotel Transylvania appears a year later, on September 25, 2015. It remains unclear as to whether or not Tartakovsky will return to direct that one. Expect more details soon.

Another animated feature has also been scheduled – with the Thanksgiving-themed Turkeys landing in theaters on November 14, 2014. The film, which features voice work from Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson, finds “two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks who must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history.”

Following in the footsteps of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, The Last Exorcism is the latest horror film to promise to be the end of something and then spawn a sequel. We suppose there’s some wiggle room with The Last Exorcism II: The Beginning of the End, since it’s set to follow the young girl who was possessed in the original film and not the charlatan preacher who tried to save her. Expect the sequel, directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly, to scare up some box office receipts on March 1, 2013.

Finally, the Aubrey Plaza comedy, The To-Do List is shifting from Valentine’s Day next year to August 16. With that slot now open, the Nicolas Sparks drama Safe Haven will open on Valentine’s Day instead. In The To-Do List, Plaza plays an uptight young woman who concocts a list of all the cool and outrageous things she missed out on doing in high school – with the idea of completing them before college.
