Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water in New Jersey without being shoved out of the way by a camera crew filming Snooki throwing up Jell-O shots for lunch, here comes the Syfy channel with its latest ridiculously absurd TV movie, Jersey Shore Shark Attack.
Starring a bunch of kids who look like the cast of Jersey Shore (plus one kid who's actually on the show), as well as your stock mobster actors (Tony Sirico, Paul Sorvino) and, randomly, William Atherton, the film looks to show us what would happen if white, albino killer Great White sharks invaded the Jersey Shore, and all we had to protect us were a bunch of juice-head guidos. Unfortunately, it would appear as if the characters we want to see die the most are actually the ones saving the day, but at least 'N Sync's Joey Fatone gets eaten by a flying shark in the trailer. That almost makes it worth the watch. Almost. But not really. If you're one of the seven people who actually watches this when it airs on June 9th, let us know how it is.
