Those of you who can't wait to see real-life Navy SEALs doing their thing on the big screen--leaping out of airplanes, rolling up on foreign beaches with machine guns drawn, thwarting evil terrorists at every turn--will get your chance starting tomorrow when Act of Valor opens. The movie stars real-life SEALs traversing the international battlefield to rescue a captured CIA agent (Roselyn Sanchez) and prevent a terrorist group's plan to cause worldwide economic collapse.
Filmmakers used helmet-cams to show the soldiers' POV and give audiences the feel of a first-person shooter like "Call of Duty" (check out the making-of clip below). Appropriately enough, then, that we have this $200 gift card to GameStop to offer, as well as Act of Valor-branded gear: a backpack, water bottle, T-shirt and book.
To win, first like us on Facebook then comment below (NOT on our Facebook page, those will not be counted): what is your favorite military movie of all time? Winner will be selected at random a week from today, Thursday Mar. 1, and have three days to respond after being contacted before a new winner is chosen. Please use a valid email address when commenting (it won't be published) or we cannot reach you. Good luck!
