Laughing Gas


In 1907, pioneering Edison director [[Performer~P106883~Edwin S. Porter~edwinsporter]] turned out such landmark films as Rescued from an Eagle's Nest and The Teddy Bears. From the evidence at hand, it would appear that Porter's Laughing Gas was anything but a landmark. The scene is a laboratory, where nitrous oxide -- a.k.a.
