Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience Grade: B+

Who’s In It: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift

The Basics: The Jonas Brothers perform their brand of extra-clean power pop live in 3D for the very young fans who adore them. Except when they don't. It's a short little movie, less than 80 minutes long (added bonus: most theaters are charging more for the privilege of getting a ticket) and about 30 of those minutes feel like DVD extras and highly staged, behind-the-scenes trivial pursuits. They even have the nerve to riff on A Hard Day's Night, not that the kids watching will get that.

What’s The Deal: Don't hate the little girls for grooving on the non-threatening boys. It's their job. The boys' job is to look cute, do cartwheels on stage and rock out in a Radio Disney kinda way. And relax, parents—the Jonas Brothers are all wearing those purity rings to show that they're saving themselves for marriage. So when they pick up high-powered hoses and spray foam all over the audience, Purple Rain–style, there's nothing dirty about it. They just really like bubble baths.

Who Could Beat Up The Jonas Brothers: Fellow teen idols Lovato and Swift, who breeze in like special guest stars on The Captain & Tennille Hour. Swift apparently had an ugly breakup with Joe Jonas after this movie was made; pity we don't get to see her go all Courtney Love on him.

Comin' At Ya: The 3D effects in this movie are pretty great, even when it's just a Jonas flipping a guitar pick at the camera. The images remain crisp and clear, unlike the headache-inducing blue/red 3D from back in the day. Joe and Kevin pull a few too many faces into the camera, desperate to come off as truly wild rock-and-rollers, but generally speaking, the extra dimensions keep the boredom at bay.
