Margie Chizek (Tanna Frederick) travels from Iowa to Los Angeles to leave behind a tragic past and to start a fabulous future as a movie star. While the road to stardom is a long and torturous one, at least she has friends along for the ride, including a talent manager (Zack Norman) and his partner (David Proval), as well as a leading man as a lover (Justin Kirk).
