Henry's Bakvaerelsen Details

Henry's (Svein Sturla Hungnes) life as a barber is uneventful until his daughter is found dead near the watermill, her drowning apparently a suicide. Henry finds out differently -- she was murdered by a pimp and drug dealer -- and Henry's desire for revenge is fanned to a red-hot intensity. He teams up with Tom (Roy Hansen), a throwback to the wilder lifestyles of the '60s, and through thick and thin, the odd couple manages to track down and trap the killer. By now Henry has no intention of turning his captive over to the police and instead ties him up in a barber chair in his back room to watch him squirm. Tom does not like this turn of events, and he and Henry disagree over what course of action to follow -- not a good start for a successful prosecution of the fellow in the chair, who is definitely not waiting around for a haircut. ~ Eleanor Mannikka, Rovi
