When Thor gets banished to Earth, his life gets pretty bleak. He’s separated from his enchanted hammer, his dad is mad at him, and his adopted brother betrayed him. But astrophysicist Jane Foster turns everything around when they meet cute (she hits him with her car in the middle of the desert) and they fall in love in the wilds of New Mexico. Ok, yes, they become smitten in a really short amount of time, but Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman sell their attraction very nicely, which gives the god a real reason to change his entitled ‘tude.
