How To Train Your Dragon
Two flying date scenes in one list? You bet! And maybe the scene in How To Train Your Dragon is pushing it a little bit, but I consider it a date as it’s certainly the first time Hiccup and Astrid truly connect in a meaningful, romantic way. Their ride, at first terrifying, atop Toothless is one of the most beautiful and majestic flights in cinematic history. Hyperbole? Possibly, but give the film a few more years for people to really appreciate just how amazing it (and that flight scene) is. In the meantime, there’s definitely a place for that great date on this list.
