The movie so dark that it helped inspire the creation of the PG-13 rating, Steven Spielberg's sequel -- once again based on a story by George Lucas -- features an incredibly gloomy tone, human sacrifice, child slavery and the bloody removal of a still-beating human heart. Later, even Spielberg acknowledged that it was "too dark, too subterranean, and much too horrific."
