Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

As the title implies, the mighty Galactic Empire has maintained its upper hand against the Rebel Alliance, and an air of desperation makes the atmosphere quite gloomy. A Rebel base is destroyed, the Millenium Falcon malfunctions, Luke has troubling premonitions, someone is frozen in carbonite, and a shocking revelation of parentage is made. With everyone's fate up in the air, the movie simply… stops! That's what we call dark.
