Directed by Mark Hartley (Not Quite Hollywood)

The documentarian behind the must-see Not Quite Hollywood makes his narrative feature-film debut with this remake of the 1978 horror movie about a comatose patient who is somehow using telekinesis to control those around him. The original is a fine, freaky film, but one that could actually benefit from a remake. And considering this one features the talents of Sharni Vinson (You’re Next) and Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), we’re betting it’s going to be a new entry in the Remakes That Are Better Than the Originals hall of fame.
