Perpetually confused Rosencrantz and Guildernstern aren’t sure who‘s who, don’t know where they’re going and have no clue what to do when they get there. All clear so far? Tom Stoppard’s absurdist 1990 masterpiece, a pseudo-version of Hamlet starring Shakespeare’s befuddled, oddly philosophical messengers who can’t escape their deathly destiny is worth a second viewing if only to watch, again, the Q & A battles of wits and ridiculousness that ping-pong between the pissy Tim Roth and his dim though occasionally clever sidekick Gary Oldman.
