Without a doubt, the biggest argument one could make for the Rock as an action star came with Fast Five. While certainly a silly film, this is still a fun action movie of the highest order. The Rock takes his role seriously, has enough muscles to make Vin Diesel look like a twink, and gets to casually shoot the main bad guy in the head. Even better, we learn that the Rock doesn't mind sharing the stage with an ensemble.
