Genres Quentin Tarantino Needs to Tackle Next

The Australian exploitation films of the 1970s were more extreme than their counterparts in the U.S. and Europe: more blood, more nudity, more out-of-control behavior, more sheer weirdness. Tarantino plays an Aussie in Django Unchained -- though his accent is, er, questionable -- along with John Jarrett, who is the genuine article, a distinguished veteran in his homeland, and perhaps we can take this as a signal that Tarantino might take the plunge and make a full-bore surfer-themed movie, set in Australia in the '70s.
