Book Series That Need to Find Their Peter Jackson

Director Jeffrey Bloom adapted the very famous Flowers in the Attic in 1987, but failed to take on the other four books in this series. V.C. Andrews may have ended the Dollanganger Children's attic ordeal in book one, but all kinds of crazy stuff happened to the family afterwards. The highly melodramatic story spans three generations and, with the right director, could be intriguingly epic, albeit in a somewhat trashy fashion.
