Blonde Inspiration Details

FULL SYNOPSIS

Blonde Inspiration was one of the few non-musical directorial efforts of [[Performer~P81568~Busby Berkeley~busbyberkeley]]. MGM contract players [[Performer~P65123~John Shelton~johnshelton]] and [[Performer~P28741~Virginia Grey~virginiagrey]] head the cast of this leisurely second-echelon comedy. [[Performer~P65123~Shelton~johnshelton]] plays a western novelist who is inspired to incredible productivity by buxom blonde [[Performer~P46003~Marion Martin~marionmartin]]. Trouble is, he writes more books than his publisher ([[Performer~P18299~Albert Dekker~albertdekker]]) can handle; thus, efforts are made to break up [[Performer~P65123~Shelton~johnshelton]]'s romance--and that's where [[Performer~P28741~Grey~virginiagrey]] comes in. Blonde Inspiration was based on [[Performer~P32963~John Cecil Holm~johncecilholm]]'s stage farce Four Cents a Word. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
