FULL SYNOPSIS
Panos is a moderately impoverished Athenian con-man and a robber whose convoluted and clever schemes are the main focus of this comedy. He is particularly adept at putting schemes over on new lovers and talkative mothers. His brother-in-law Menas lives in a basement apartment which is prone to invasion by truck exhaust and trash thrown by passers-by, and he joins him in one of his more elaborate schemes. Despite the fact that Menas is married, he can't stop himself from trying to woo the utterly indifferent beauty Antigoni -- if only because she is so completely cold to his advances. ~ Clarke Fountain, Rovi
