Synopsis:
Based on the Robert Penn Warren novel and loosely based on real-life politician Gov. Huey Long of Louisiana, the film follows politician Willie Stark as his good intentions and idealism give way to corruption when his political career soars. Unfortunately for Stark, his right-hand man still carries the same moral character he did when the two entered the arena.
