Reiko Aylesworth Biography

  • Profession: Actor
  • Born: Dec 9, 1972
  • Died: Jan 1, 0001

Actress Reiko Aylesworth honed and sharpened her dramatic gifts on-stage, with work in such off-Broadway productions as [[Performer~P110969~John Patrick Shanley~johnpatrickshanley]]'s Kissing Christine/Missing Marisa and Marshall Mason's Robbers. After making her screen debut on the daytime soap [[Feature~V284353~One Life to Live~onelifetolive[tvseries]]], Aylesworth checked in as something of a television stalwart during the mid- to late '90s, with guest appearances on such programs as [[Feature~V242082~Law & Order~laworder[tvseries]]], [[Feature~V268424~The Dead Zone~thedeadzone[tvseries]]], and [[Feature~V220880~CSI: Crime Scene Investigation~csi:crimesceneinvestigation[tvseries]]], and occasional bit parts in films including [[Feature~V174227~You've Got Mail~youvegotmail]] (1998) and [[Feature~V180986~Random Hearts~randomhearts]] (1999). Devotees of the action thriller series [[Feature~V257810~24~24[tvseries]]] will invariably recall Aylesworth on that program, in her role as CTU agent Michelle Dessler -- love interest, then wife and ex-wife, of Tony Almeida -- a role she maintained for several seasons. In the late 2000s, Aylesworth appeared on the popular medical drama [[Feature~V179305~ER~er[tvseries]]] as a hospital chaplain, tackled a supporting role as an attorney in [[Performer~P89187~Bruce A. Evans~bruceaevans]]' psychological thriller [[Feature~V351497~Mr. Brooks~mrbrooks]], and signed for one of her premier big-screen leads as the heroine in [[Feature~V352388~Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem~aliensvspredator:requiem]] (2007). Aylesworth would remain active for years to come, appearing on series like Lost, Damages, and Hawaii Five-0. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
