Pleasant-looking and genial American character player Reed Diamond delivered a number of early performances prior to his first major assignment -- as Detective Mike Kellerman on the series [[Feature~V284356~Homicide: Life on the Street~homicide:lifeonthestreet[tvseries]]]. Diamond carried the role from 1995 through 1998, and reprised it in [[Performer~P87206~Jean de Segonzac~jeandesegonzac]]'s 2000 feature [[Feature~V239184~Homicide: The Movie~homicide:themovie]]. After essaying the [[Performer~P3198~Lloyd Bridges~lloydbridges]] role in that same year's telemovie remake of [[Feature~V22384~High Noon~highnoon]], Diamond then branched off into cinematic work. He was memorable as John Aaron in [[Performer~P13722~George Clooney~georgeclooney]]'s [[Performer~P51543~Edward R. Murrow~edwardrmurrow]] biopic [[Feature~V317061~Good Night, and Good Luck.~goodnightandgoodluck]], and lent supporting roles to the horror picture [[Feature~V355730~The Darkroom~thedarkroom]] (2006) and the thriller [[Feature~V392183~Adrenaline~adrenaline]] (2007). Diamond continued to work on the small screen as well, playing Stuart Collins for many episodes of [[Feature~V181316~Judging Amy~judgingamy[tvseries]]] and appearing in episodes of such popular series as [[Feature~V220880~CSI~csi:crimesceneinvestigation[tvseries]]], [[Feature~V242082~Law & Order~laworder[tvseries]]], [[Feature~V181326~The West Wing~thewestwing[tvseries]]], and [[Feature~V336771~Ghost Whisperer~ghostwhisperer[tvseries]]]. In 2007, he scored a regular role on the short-lived sci-fi drama [[Feature~V400699~Journeyman~journeyman[tvseries]]], as Jack Vassar, the brother of main character Dan Vasser ([[Performer~P200457~Kevin McKidd~kevinmckidd]]). He also appeared in the first season of Joss Whedon's short-lived series Dollhouse in 2009, and the next year he landed a recurring part on the 8th season of the FOX action series 24.
